Juneteenth is celebrated annually, usually on the 19th of June to mark the date when some of the last enslaved people in the Confederacy were notified of their freedom following the Civil War. Juneteenth on the Ave.™ is set to take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the heart of Bronzeville Columbus with a the city-wide, family-friendly celebration and commemoration of Freedom.
Juneteenth on the Ave is a family friendly event with a host of engaging activities, food, and fellowship with village.
